No. Your report is anonymous. The letter comes from Flag Keepers, and your name is not included. You never have to confront anyone or deliver anything yourself.

Just the complete mailing address of the home, business, or government office flying the flag, plus the addressee's name if you know it. Enter these in the payment form when you select Report. The cost is $7 per letter.

The U.S. Flag Code (4 U.S.C. 8(k)) says that when a flag is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, it should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning. A tattered flag letter is a courteous reminder of that standard.
