Flag Keepers retires American Flags that are no longer fit for display.
The United States Flag Code tells us all we need to know about proper flag care and display.
“The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning.”
Flagkeepers' American flag retirement ceremonies are respectful and ceremonial. We also regularly accept flags from states, civic organizations and even other nations.

When an American flag is tattered, frayed or faded, it is no longer fit for display and should be retired. A local Boy Scout troop or VFW may offer United States flag retirement, or you can mail it to us. This service is free, and donations to help defray our costs are greatly appreciated. Many patriots include a $1 or $5 bill with their flag.

In addition to flag retirement ceremonies, he was passionate about American flag education.
